The Grameen Crédit Agricole Foundation was created in September 2008, on the initiative of Crédit Agricole SA, in partnership with Professor Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate 2006 and founder of Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, an Grameen Trust. It received, from its inception, a € 50 million endowment from Crédit Agricole SA.
