Global Social Business Summit 2015

Creating a world without poverty and unemployment

"Berlin is the ideal place for the 7th GSBS – a city full of history, culture, energy and creativity…a truly unique capital at the heart of Europe." – Hans Reitz, Head of Global Social Business Summit

Travelling across the globe from Germany to Austria, Malaysia and Mexico, the Global Social Business Summit 2015 will return to Germany and take over the city of Berlin from November 4th – 6th. The 7th edition represents an important step for the social business community we have fostered over the past years, as we are welcoming new participants with different backgrounds to increase our impact and expand our movement. In this spirit, inclusiveness, impact measurement and sustainability are three commitments we are placing at the center of the organization of the event.

For the 7th edition of the Global Social Business Summit, we have designed a program inspired by the 7th principle of social business, “do it with joy!”, to provide a breathtaking experience to all participants. This year we want to showcase the role of empathy and stimulate your creativity through new inspiring platforms for problem-solving. Once again we are gathering renowned and inspirational speakers from social businesses, the business world, the political scene, as well as entrepreneurs, scientists and academics to deliver a conference with high quality content.

The host city of Berlin is certainly one of the most striking capitals in the world. It is a fertile ground for new ideas and creativity and therefore the ideal place for the Global Social Business Summit 2015. While the main conference of the GSBS will take place at the exceptional location of Tempelhof airport, we have decided to leverage the spaces surrounding the airport to host interactive workshops while engaging the local community.

We are excited to welcome you this November in Berlin!
