Professor Yunus Mourns Death of M R Khan

Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus expressed deep shock at the death of renowned child specialist Dr M R Khan who was also a National Professor. Professor Yunus recalled his contribution to the national healthcare industry especially in reducing child mortality through his different pioneering roles. Professor Yunus said, “Mr Khan will be remembered for his constructive and visionary contribution in child health development. Besides being a renowned pediatrician, Mr Khan gave important policy guidelines in shaping the country's healthcare industry in various capacities. His absence will be felt among colleagues, friends and families across. I pray for his departed soul and for the bereaved family so that they can overcome the great loss.”
