Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus visited Atlanta; in the U.S. state of Georgia from September 27-29, 2014, to participate in Gala for World Summit of Nobel peace Laureates 2015 and to announce that Atlanta will host the World Summit of Nobel peace Laureates in 2015. Prevalent public figures such as former President Jimmy Carter, Ted Turner, and Ambassador Andrew Young accompanied Professor Muhammad Yunus in the announcement program. President Jimmy Carter and Professor Muhammed Yunus are the two Peace Laureate Hosts and Ted Turner is the Honorary Chair for the Atlanta Summit. The organizers of the 2015 World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates are: Yunus Creative Lab, Inc., the City of Atlanta, and the Nobel Laureate Organization.
