Professor Yunus Delivers Commencement Speech at Babson College, USA

Nobel Peace Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus was the commencement speaker for the graduating class of 2016 at the prestigious Babson College of Wellesley, Massachusetts USA on 14th May 2016.

 

Around 5,000 audience were present at the commencement(convocation) ceremony of the 100 year old business school. Professor Yunus talked about limitless creativity of young people and urged the young graduates to use this capacity to solve all human problems. He asked them not to remain satisfied with merely being beneficiary of the new technologies, rather develop new amazing technologies to create a new world of three zeros, zero poverty, zero unemployment, zero net carbon, in the shortest possible time. He urged them to use most of their creative power to solve human problems, and keep only a small fraction of it to create their own personal comforts.

 

Sprawling over a 500 acre campus, Babson college is considered to be the topmost entrepreneurship college in the United States and has been ranked so for the last 23 years.
