Grameen Trust completes Annual Closing of forty five Nobin Udyokta projects:
Grameen Trust (GT) has successfully completed the annual closing for 2014 of forty five Nobin Udyokta projects. GT has invested a total of Tk 97,80,000 (USD 125,385) to these projects. Investments are made for different business activities including telecom, IT, repairing, manufacturing, handicrafts, drug store, trading, nursery, wholesale and retail business.
GT unit managers in Chandpur Sadar unit and Ramganj unit worked hard to help and guide the NUs to complete their annual closing. One official from GT Head office visited the businesses of other NUs in Gazipur and Tangail districts and helped them complete their annual closing. This is a new experience of NU for maintaining business accounts in a professional way. NUs are found to be satisfied to see the total accounts of the business presented in an organized way which helps them to understand the real state/condition of the business. They now realize the importance of maintaining proper accounts which is the 1st step to get any formal loan from any bank and/or other financial institutions.
GT head office compiled and verified these closing reports. Closing reports includes information on overall transaction, closing stock, bank balance, cash in hand, net profit etc. Utilization of GT's investment in the NU projects and the record keeping system of the projects are found to be satisfactory.
